Description
The Forester’s Garage Building faces west from Seventh Avenue near its junction with Wellington Street at the end of a strip of brick-faced buildings, most of which date from the early twentieth century.
Heritage Value
The Forester’s Garage Building, dating from the early 1900’s, is valued for its varied roles on historic Seventh Avenue, beginning with its role as a garage when such services were on “Main” streets, followed with its long service as a MacLeods Store, a retail name synonymous with the prairie west, and other retail operations.
